How do you reduce your taxes?

What accounting methods do you use and how do you maximize your deductions? I had the bright idea of just telling the IRS that I died, but then I probably wouldn't get a refund.

I just read that thanks to all the bank bailouts taxes are are now a flat $170 this year minus your rent/house payment expenditures. It's on the IO_N1LL Form you can write & request it but it's okay to just staple your check/ refund request onto whatever they mailed you.
Oh, since it was leap year they pushed the due date to April 27th.

First, you stack up everything you owe and then you douse it in lighter fluid...touch it with your lit see-gar and write "P A I D" in the sand with your nose. Most people can't do this without a little help from their local "financial investment accountants"...so, if you need help filling out all the forms, etc, call 1-900-666-1212 and we'll send a car around to fetch you.
