What accounting methods do you use and how do you maximize your deductions? I had the bright idea of just telling the IRS that I died, but then I probably wouldn't get a refund.

Sat, April 12, 2008 - 4:33 PMI just read that thanks to all the bank bailouts taxes are are now a flat $170 this year minus your rent/house payment expenditures. It's on the IO_N1LL Form you can write & request it but it's okay to just staple your check/ refund request onto whatever they mailed you.
Oh, since it was leap year they pushed the due date to April 27th. -

Most people can't do this without a little help from their local "financial investment accountants"...so, if you need help filling out all the forms, etc, call 1-900-666-1212 and we'll send a car around to fetch you. -

No, this actually sounds like you have something. I think you should kill yourself to get the refund. That way if they question it, you can go in show them that you really are dead.
